Coupling, also known as coupling, is a mechanical component used to rotate the drive shaft and driven shaft firmly together in different mechanisms and to transmit motion and torque.It is sometimes used to couple shafts with other parts (e.g. gears, pulleys, etc.).Often synthesized by two halves, joined separately by keys or tight fits, fastened at both axle ends, and then joined together in some way.Coupling can compensate for offsets (including axial offset, radial offset, angular offset or combined offset) between the two shafts due to imprecise fabrication and installation, deformation during operation or thermal expansion, and mitigate shock and vibration absorption.
Most of the commonly used couplings have been standardized or standardized. Generally, only the type of couplings and the type and size of couplings need to be correctly selected.If necessary, check and calculate the load capacity of the vulnerable link; when the speed is high, check the centrifugal force at the outer edge and the deformation of the elastic element, check the balance, etc.
