If conditions permit, gas or liquid fuel can be used for injection. Immersion heating is generally only suitable for coupling parts with smaller size (inner diameter less than 100 mm). The method is simple and the heating is uniform. Using oxygen acetylene flame heating method to heat small or large machine parts is simple, but it needs more skilled technology to prevent overheating and burning machine parts. For large size plum coupling, the combination of oxygen acetylene flame heating and blowtorch heating can also be used, and the effect is good. Although electric induction heating method is a better heating method, it is limited in the field installation due to the need for special equipment, but the inductance heating method should be considered.
