There are many kinds of couplings. Different couplings have different applications. They are powerful and popular. The working environment of the coupling needs to make its performance fully play. If the coupling is used in different environments such as high temperature, low temperature, acid and alkali, the flexible coupling with metal elastic element should be selected instead of the flexible coupling with elastic element. In small or transmission based transmission system, the precision of coupling is very high, so the coupling with non-metallic elastic element is selected.

Because the coupling is used together with other products in different host products, its working environment is a bit complex, which will be affected by temperature, water, dust and other aspects. When choosing coupling, we should consider these aspects according to our own actual situation. In some cases, the accuracy requirements are different, so we need to examine them first. Therefore, the working environment of the coupling is still needed. It should be used with other components and the type and type of coupling should be selected. Understand the comprehensive function of the coupling in the transmission system, and select the variety and type of the coupling from the overall design of the transmission system.

We choose the type of coupling according to the prime mover type, working load type, working speed, transmission accuracy, two shaft offset, temperature, humidity and working environment. Select the structure type of coupling according to the needs of matching host. When the coupling is used together with the brake, the coupling with brake wheel or brake disc should be selected; when overload protection is needed, the coupling should be selected. Flange type should be selected when connecting with flange; for long distance transmission, intermediate shaft type or intermediate sleeve type should be selected when the axial size of connection is large.

The standard coupling should be determined according to the use requirements and working conditions, such as comprehensive analysis of bearing capacity, speed, relative displacement of two shafts, vibration reduction, assembly, disassembly and maintenance of vulnerable drum gear coupling. During assembly, deburring shall be removed and all parts shall be cleaned; during assembly, the center lines of bearing holes of two welding forks shall be on the same plane, and the allowable deviation shall not exceed 1 °. The spline part shall be able to slide freely and the joint shall be able to rotate flexibly. Clean the surface, apply antirust primer to the flange end face and end face key, and then paint (painting is not allowed). Regular lubrication. It is recommended to refuel once a week and once a day at high temperature.
